Gloria Loughman
The author of Luminous Landscapes, Gloria Loughman has exhibited her quilts around the world. Gloria learned patchwork 20 years ago while recovering from a course of chemotherapy. After completing some studies in design and color as part of a Diploma of Art in 1996, she began to make large vivid landscape quilts depicting the Australian bush in fabric, paint and machine embroidery.
