Description
How could anyone resist this converting this deep-fried treat into an air-fryer wonder? You must use the small, “fun- size” bars. Larger bars will melt before the coating sets. And the candy bars must be frozen hard—not just a few hours in the freezer but at least overnight, preferably for more than 24 hours. These bars don’t have the standard, “batter- style” coating of those you’ll find at state fairs. That sort of batter slips off them in an air fryer and makes a royal mess. Rather, we coat these with cookie crumbs so there’s a little legit crunch factor in the decadence. You can buy those cookie crumbs already ground or grind your own.
